The whole day started with sun, we woke up when the sun shun through the tent canvas. The tent became very hot, and we all rushed out in the fresh mountain air. I watched the play of colours on one of the mountain tops, all the colours reflected on the snow, and shun all over the fertile valley. I had to take my sunglasses on otherwise I would get snow blind of the bright colours. A herd of reindeers crossed the white snow, and left a trail of black footsteps behind them. It looked like a painting of a sea, the footsteps as the waves and the snow as the horisont. 

Today was a special morning, we had two days left in the wilderness before we arrived to the civilization. And we started on the last rations, the "menu" wasn´t on oatmeal with sugar, raisins and powder-milk. No we had soup; it felt like heaven to get hot soup and look on the great nature of Abisko.
